National Quilting Day

Each year the Capital Quilters guild of Bismarck put on a show and a day of classes for National Quilting Day. The festivities are held at the Heritage Center and since I work there, I help out with hanging the show. It is wonderful to see examples of the creative quilting in our guild and community.

An antique crazy quilt was on display. In near perfect condition, the attached note said it was made in 1885 and had a photo of the maker.

This year several groups showed off their challenge quilts.

Gorgeous quilts....wish I could see them in person. They all seem so bright and colorful!
