Fetching

Tis the season to be knitting. I seem to have been inspired with the cold weather and have enjoyed sitting in my comfy chair in the evening and knitting. The patter du jour has been fingerless gloves...
The pattern is called Fetching and is found in Knitty Summer 2006 e-zine. It is a quick pattern and I can knit up a set of gloves in a weekend. This was also my first attempt at knitting cables and I have to say they are easier than they look.
For the blue pair, I used Cascade wool and a size 6 needles. The tan and the rose colored gloves I used Lion Brand Yarn Wool Ease worsted weight. The tan I made with size 8 needles and the rose are done in size 6. Cant wait to start on the Cascade Orange Tweed yarn for my own pair.
Happy Holidays.

They look so warm and comfortable. I am trying to make a few pairs for xmas gifts but I only crochet so it looks different.
