Baby bootees

I thought my knitted bootees were cute, but my mom created some bootees that are absolutely adorable...
Hand embroidered with silk ribbon ties, I cant wait to seem them on her cute little feet.

I'd like to purchase a pattern for these, too! Could your mom whip one up and put it on etsy for us?
These are so adorable, and with my twin grandnieces arriving, it would be so fun to make some...

Your daughter will have the cutest dressed feet. Those embroidered felt booties with the silk ties are adorable ... and then there are your too cute knit ones. What fun her mommy and grandmother have been having.

These are just beautiful. And I'm agreeing with the others who asked if your mom has a pattern for these - or what pattern she used. They are just so precious!!!

These are all ADORABLE! May I ask what kind of felt she used? It's hard to get the right weight fabric for this kind of project!

These look like they're from McCall's pattern #2867, which is pretty much available in most sewing stores. That's the pattern I used when I started one set of booties, but I never carried through. I couldn't stand the fabric I was working on!

Thanks for the lovely post and the inspiration to try, try again!

Hi, Was there ever a pattern made available to make these adorable booties? If so, I'm interested in it to make some for my niece/goddaughter! Thanks!

Trese,

the pattern is a vintage one that I blogged about here:
