300 reasons to smile....

My 300th post and I have fantastic news to share... My quilt Crazy for Beads, is in the April/May 2010 issue of Quilters Newsletter. Whoo hoo. My quilt is showcased along with several other fantastic quilts from the Alliance for American Quilts Crazy for Quilts competition, what a thrill.

Congratulations Amy! Your block is gorgeous. Mine is on the next page, "Rose Song". This is a nice bonus, isn't it?

Hi Amy,

I also saw your block in the magazine on Friday. I was surprised to see CQ's in QNM as they don't feature very often CQ's..Your block is absolutely gorgeous. Marilynne in SE TN

Hi Amy, I subscribe to Quilter's Newsletter Mag. and saw the Crazy Quilts when I received the issue about a couple of weeks ago, but I don't think I wrote you a congratulatory note. All of them were beautiful and I am so happy for all of you. I sent Betty Pillsbury a note when I got it and I don't think she had seen the mag. I am so happy to see Crazy Quilting getting recognition and included more in the "sane" quilting shows/publications, etc. and remembered seeing all of them at the AQS Show in Nashville, TN in 2003 (I believe that was the year). Again, I am so happy for you and all the other artisans and your work is gorgeous....Marilynne Q in SE TN
