I have two block hand quilted on the Double Wedding ring quilt. Progress is slow due to my not using a thimble on my underneath hand. Seems what ever finger I put the thimble on, I use the other. Some day I hope to take a hand quilting class and improve my technique, until then I guess my finger will have to suffer.
I have also been working on a wall hanging for my son's room. A quick project, the applique is done with wonder under. I designed the dragon myself. I am thinking for the quilting to do a flame pattern or maybe to words to Puff the Magic Dragon, I am still undecided on that.

Love the Double Wedding ring and your dragon is GREAT! Have you tried using the rubber office fingers as a thimble on your underneath hand? Works for me and helps save some skin on your finger. (Lesa)
Love your double wedding ring quilt. I have a quilt in process using 30's reproduction fabrics too. It is called scraps from our past. I will probably try to hand quilt it when I get it finished. Your dragon quilt is so adorable.
