I recently ran across some photos of the Mardi Gras Mask I made for the Badlands Quilters Guild 2005 Retreat. The theme of the weekend was Mardi Gras and all were asked to make a mask to wear to the banquet. I fused most of the fabrics and lined the mask

with wire to make every stay where I wanted it. I used eyelash thread, free motion quilting, fabric paint and beads form embellishment. It was a fun project of just go with it and don't worry about perfect construction technique. The front of the mask looks nice, but the back is a bit tacked together.
