Quiltfest

This weekend was Capital Quiltfest in Bismarck. We had Darlene Zimmerman as our national teacher. I did not take any of her classes but did attend her trunk show at the Banquet. She shared many wonderful quilt and my mind was soon swimming with ideas to finish off some vintage blocks I have. I did take a class on the popular pattern, Mexican Stars. Had a great time and was able to reach my goal of having the top pieced by the end of the day.
