Beaded Flowers

Several years ago I enjoyed a weekend full of beading classes with Nancy Eha. I took her 3-D Ultrasuede Flowers and Organic Beading. I created a name tag with my beaded flower. Wonderful and inspiring I have continued to try to incorporate beads into my work.





Terri asked: Did you draw your name or print it? I love the fun font you used.
I printed the font out on regular paper in the size I wanted and used it as a reference. The letters were penciled free hand on to the fabric and then filled in with a permanent marker. I have always enjoyed calligraphy and using a font express something other than the just words. I enjoy finding fonts to use and the Internet has an endless supply of free fonts.
