This is my first stumpwork dragonfly, inspired from the book Stumpwork Dragonflies by Jane Nichols. I think the thorax turned out a little too large. I did attempt to create some 3-D wings out of wire and organza but I had a difficult time getting them the same size, so I went with applique.
