One of my favorite parts of Christmas is decorating my tree. I adore handmade ornaments from friends, family and my travels. I love the memories that each one brings as I place it on my tree....
I made this out of a left over Christmas card. You simply cut circles and then fold each into a triangle and then glue the flaps together. I found a tutorial
here, if you are interested.

This is a miniature Santa that I purchased while living in Germany. He and all his toys are made out of wood and he stands about 3 inches tall.

This is my art doll angel. Made of paper and other found objects and is about 8 inches in length. I cant help but smile when I think about those little chicken feather wings trying to carry the portly body around. His hat is a plastic thimble. Just charming.

this was made by my mother who is quite accomplished when it comes to working with ceramic. It is hand painted and then bits of glass were fired on in a kiln.

Beautiful!
Happy memories ... happy holidays!
I love your paper ball ornament Amy - we used to have one of those which was much bigger, which had some (fake) mistletoe hanging from the bottom of it, which we had hung up every year somewhere - haven't thought about that in ages - but I should have my kids try those paper ornaments with the leftover Christmas cards this year - thanks for the inspiration!
