Happy New Year

Between the holiday baking and visiting family I did find a little time to relax and knit. 2008 was the year of the fingerless gloves, I made at least 4 pair of the Fetching Pattern from Knitty.com This orange pair is for me.
I made this pair as a gift in a bit different pattern. In making all of the gloves I did learn how to knit cables. Not as complicated as I thought.

And here is the hat for my hubby, which has been perfect for this year. In December we received a record amount of snow and it looks like more is on the way.
