I cant stop knitting these little bootees. The latest pair have an added crochet flower (I got the idea from another knitter on Ravelry). So far these are my favorites. I love the orange wool and purple combination. For all of the bootees I have been using my leftover yarns from other projects, it is a great way to use up those tiny bits of leftovers.
They are so tiny and cute.
As fun as the previous bootees are, a good friend emailed me this link to some knit Robeez.....and now I see myself knitting up several more of these as well. The pattern calls for size 5 needles with a medium (worsted) weight yarn (made to fit and 11 month old) I use a size 2.5 with Plymouth Galway wool yarn in green heather (worsted weight) and I think they should fit a 6-8 month old.

Amy I have never seen such beautiful even knitting in all my life.
The bootees are gorgeous
Are you trying to kill us with cuteness? ADORABLE!! You're quite talented.
These are so cute...and they look like they will function well!
My niece is carrying twin girls (no longer triplets, but everyone is fine)...and I am thinking a lot about sewing for baby!
I love that color combination too! They are just too sweet, Amy! And the Robeez are adorable as well. Knit on! ;-)
Does little big brother get a pair of big boy slippers?
Those are adorable! I look at your fabulous pics and I wish I were a knitter!
Cheers,
Dionne
