I traveled the world when I was younger. I flew to Scotland to visit a pen pal when I was 14, studied abroad in Florence, Italy while in college and lived near Frankfurt Germany for a number of years after college. The most exciting place I have been in the past few weeks is Medora, ND for a quilt retreat.
Although I seem to be sticking fairly close to home, my quilts are getting around. My entry in the Alliance for American Quilts Crazy for Quilts competition was on display at the International Quilt Festival in Houston this past week. A quilt friend, Tanya Brown, was kind enough to snap a few photos of the display. Exhilarating seeming my little quilt in such good company.
Be sure to check out the rest of the quilts in the competition and look for when the eBay auction will start.
