Thinking ahead

I am getting close to finishing the two major projects I have been working on since the beginning of the year. Both should be done by the end of May and since my creative mind never seems to stop, I have been thinking about my next project and starting to pull out fabrics...

My mom and I have chatted a few times on how to use the vintage photos and how fabrics could be used to continue the image. I guess the apple does not fall far from the tree because here is what my mom has been working on....She started by tinting her vintage fabric photo with crayons and fabric paint. I will have to get her to blog about it, because she has done a fantastic job.

It will be interesting to see how our embellishments change the look of each quilt.
