Spring Chicks

I have been creating some birds in my studio the past few weeks. I started out with Nellie Durrand's Fabric Bird Sculpture pattern (the colorful fella in the photo) and then I picked up the book The Artful Bird. The blue fella is based on the wren pattern from the book. I just adore this little guy made from fabric in my scrap bin. I may have a whole flock of bird in the house soon.
