ATC

I am exchanging ATC with Peggy in Germany. I received this beautiful card in the mail yesterday. It is made with distressed velvet and lovely stitched curves. Very textural. Ich liebe es, danke.

Here is the card that I am dropping in the mail today. It is a variation of the fiber collage postcards I have made. It is all hand stitched with a few beads. I hope she likes it.

ATC - Autumn Leaf

I have been playing around with a new beading stitch to create leaves. For this one I used solid orange seed beads with an opaque gold/yellow seed bead. I constructed the leaf and then appliqued it on to the card.

Tyvek ATC

This is one of my Tyvek experiments made into my first ever ATC. I painted with a metallic pink fabric paint in the middle and gold on the edges. I heated with an iron. The base fabric is silk and I used free motion stitching to attach the tyvek to the base. The back is finished off with watercolor paper attached with wonder under.
